Young people can now access headspace Canberra services at their new centrally located premises in Braddon, making it easier for young people across the ACT region to access the help they need for problems affecting their wellbeing.
A range of services are provided through the Canberra headspace Centre, which are funded through a number of channels, including through the ACT Primary Health Network (PHN) Program, ACT Health, Canberra Health Services and non-government organisations. These services include the PHN Next Step low intensity psychological service provided by coaches, psychological services provided by mental health professionals, sexual health services and drug and alcohol services. GP services will also soon be available at the Centre for young people to access for their physical and mental health needs.
