Justice Connections 5

Friday 1 June 2018, 9am to 5pm — University of Canberra, Ann Harding Centre.

Hosted by the School of Law and Justice at the University of Canberra (UC) and ACT Justice and Community Services, this symposium will generate discussion and debate about justice administration and access within society.

Themes include family violence initiatives that show evidence of success/failure, discrimination and potential pathways to (in)justice, and innovative justice.

Keynote speakers include the Hon Michael Kirby AC CMG; UC’s Chancellor, Professor Tom Calma AO; the ACT Justice Minister, Shane Rattenbury MLA; the Hon Richard Refshauge; the President of the Australian Human Rights Commission, Professor Rosalind Croucher AM; and the President of the ACT Human Rights Commission, Dr Helen Watchirs OAM.
