Our Philosophy

We believe that health is determined by a broad range of social, environmental, biological and economic factors and therefore take a whole of life approach to women's health. We acknowledge the various roles of women, encourage self-determination and promote greater participation by women in decision making around health services and health policy.

Your Membership

Women and Organisations who support the philosophy and work of the Women's Centre for Health Matters are encouraged to become members and make their voices heard.

Financial members can:

• Vote at Annual General Meetings;
• Nominate to be on the Board of Directors;
• Provide advocacy and consultation on policies which might affect you or other women in the community.

Membership Fees

• Women in paid work $20.00
• Women not in paid work $5.00
• Funded organisations $35.00
• Unfunded groups $5.00

Membership is valid for twelve months with renewals due at the end of each financial year.
