The National Plan to Reduce Violence Against Women and Their Children 2010-2022 acts as the primary Australian policy on reducing sexual assault and domestic and family violence. The National Plan consists of four Action Plans (each covering three years) that are intended to build a set of defined and practical steps to respond to and prevent violence against women and their children.
With just four years of the National Plan remaining, AWAVA is undertaking a project to contribute to evaluations of Third Action Plan (3AP) and consult on the development of the Fourth Action Plan (4AP). As a part of this project, the survey aims to identify gaps, issues and positive steps that can inform the creation of the Fourth Action Plan.
The survey seeks the input of individuals and organisations, and will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. The survey is anonymous and does not require you to disclose your name or your organisation unless you choose to. The survey findings will be used in advocacy and written submissions to relevant government agencies including the Department of Social Services and the Office for Women in the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet. The survey closes on the 17th of June.
