WCHM is featured in the media quite a bit in this last month.

WCHM’s findings about access to abortion were covered in: The Canberra Times.

The CEO spoke on ABC radio about the value of death review teams to collect data on all domestic and family violence deaths, after the Australian Human Rights Commission released a report arguing that Australia should establish mechanisms to improve the collection of nationwide data on patterns and trends in domestic and family violence homicides.

WCHM’s Deputy CEO, Emma Davidson discussed WCHM’s Safety Mapping project on ABC radio twice, discussing what affects women’s feelings of safety in public spaces, why it’s important for women to be able to participate fully in their community, and the importance of good urban planning and design for visibility and mixed use of spaces.
