Development of training for services and a website were recommendations from WCHM’s 2016 research report, Not a Label. More than a Diagnosis.  On Wednesday 15 November 2017, Minister Shane Rattenbury launched a newly created website Borderline in the ACT (http://borderlineintheact.org.au/). This new online resource was developed by the Women’s Centre for Health Matters to provide information for people with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), their family and friends, and service providers who work with people with BPD.

A training workshop for service providers was also run on the same day to improve their understanding of BPD and how to work with clients who are experiencing BPD. The workshop was delivered by Natalie Malcolmson from BPD Awareness ACT, a Canberra service established to share the latest global research, knowledge and evidence-based programs about BPD, and the feedback from attendees was extremely positive. We plan to run another workshop in early 2018.
