What a difference a month makes. Already WCHM staff have been working from home for 6 weeks, and adjusting to non face-to-face means for meetings and staying connected.  But we are grateful that we have been able to continue to do our work from home.

Thank you to everyone who completed, or shared, our survey on the impacts of COVID-19 on women in the ACT.  What an amazing response!  In only one week we have received over 500 responses from ACT women and we will be closing the survey in the first week of May so we can analyse and report on the results!

So if you have not participated yet, now is the time – and if you have not yet shared it with other women, please help us by getting it out to your friends, families and workmates. The survey can be found here and will take about 10 minutes to complete and all responses are anonymous.

There has been so much in the news about the overall impact of COVID-19, but in this edition of our newsletter we have decided to focus on sharing some reading about the gendered impacts of COVID-19 on women – many of you will be experiencing the same issues.

Don’t forget that you can still contact us by email on and any phone calls to our office are automatically recorded and notified to us via email.

And you can follow our regular posts on our Facebook page about WCHM, women’s health, COVID-19 and other items of interest for ACT women.
