The Women’s Centre for Health Matters community consultation survey about ACT women’s sexual and reproductive health closed on Friday 24 November. The Canberra Times reported on this on 19 November 2017: View Article Here
This consultation was an opportunity for women to share their views and let us know about health service access, any barriers and their knowledge about key topics such as contraception, STIs, health screening, and termination of pregnancy.
The survey included the views of women of all ages over 15 years, including women who are over 60 years.
We had over 600 responses, with over 500 completed ones which will now be analysed, and which will influence what we want to explore in some focus groups or one-on-one interviews. Thank you to those 90+ women who expressed interest in being involved in those. There are still opportunities for others to participate in focus groups and one-on-one interviews. If you would like to participate, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 02 6290 2166.
